VCube 1.2.2.6 SP1b is released
Two new features have been added.:
- The Sony 9 pin Machine control now features Assemble, Preview, Auto Edit, and Review functions
- Now is able to load 2 audio streams from a MPEG file. This allows to load 4 audio tracks if streams are stereo
This version features a lot of fix and includes all previous patches.
Czech National TV has recently bought 17 of Merging Technology’s VCube hard disk video player/recorders for its post-production department. The machines, supplied by Merging’s SI Dealer Interlab, are all connected using a 1Gb Ethernet network to a central multi-terabyte central storage via two RAID servers.
VCube 1.2 is officially released
Now Quick SD settings and Quick HD settings allow you to set video I/O, composition and TimeCode format in a single click for regular video standards.
The playback engine has been improved (smoother with less CPU).
This new software version now supports MPEG2* for record, convert, render and playback.
HDV* is also supported for playback on HD machines.
A different frame rate for TimeCode and composition while recording is now possible. E.g.: recording a 23.98 media chasing a 29.97 TC .
Real time revert function for clips has been added.
High speed frame rates for "lip sync" screening with video projectors on large screen are now possible.
19 new file formats including vob, tga, psd are supported.
